With over 15 years' experience in working remotely, Collabora was, and continues to be, uniquely prepared to support our customers and our teams during these challenging times. Despite the many obstacles brought on by the pandemic, we have continued delivering services to our clients, and continue to build and strengthen our engineering and administration teams for the road ahead.

Based in Canada, India, the United Kingdom, Brazil and Cyprus, these newest Collaborans join our worldwide team of highly skilled engineers, developers and managers who all share a common passion for technology and Open Source.

Welcome Angelica, Raghavendra, Doug, Italo and Theodotos!

Angelica Ramos

Angelica Ramos is our new Project Manager who is originally from Mexico and she has been in Canada for about 10 years. She is a certified Project Management Professional and a Certified Scrum Master with 10 years of extensive experience in IT industry as well as project management. In addition to this, she is an electronics engineer with a background in software development. Angelica also worked as an IT auditor and helped to implement security and project management process. As a team player, she enjoys working with people achieving mutual goals.

Raghavendra Rao

Raghavendra Rao joined our Multimedia team as a Software Engineer and has more than 10 years of experiences in GStreamer, WebRTC, VoIP and Mobile application development. He has worked in various aspects of VoIP ecosystem including traditional TDM-IP Media gateways, Mobile backhaul and current SIP-WebRTC communications. He has also customised Android-native WebRTC, Janus, Kamailio and RTPProxy to cater the needs of communication between mobile WebRTC client and SIP/PSTN Switches. He has worked on Android/Linux based STBs and developed various GStreamer/OpenMAX audio/video components. Raghavendra is proficient in C and Java and is passionate about Open Source software.

Doug Targett

Doug Targett joined Collabora as a Systems Administration Engineer based in our Cambridge office. Having moved into IT as a career in his mid 20's Doug works well as a generalist. He recently moved back to the UK with his family after giving a year to help set up an eye clinic in The Republic of Congo. He has over 15 years of experience and loves bringing integration and automation to systems.

Italo Nicola

Italo Nicola joined Collabora as a Software Engineering Intern. He is a student at the University of Campinas (Brazil) where he is involved with a free software and digital security group, helping newer students with Linux. He has experience with C programming, graphics programming and performance optimizations. Recently, he has started to contribute to Mesa.

Theodotos Andreou

Theodotos Andreou, who is based in Cyprus, joined Collabora as a Systems Administration Engineer. He is an experienced Linux sysadmin, with a strong focus on security and reliability. He is interested in DevOps methodologies and always eager to learn new tools of the trade. He is also a strong FOSS advocate promoting Free and Open Source software in his homeland.
