Meet the newest members of our ever-growing engineering and administrative teams!

Since our founding in 2005, Collabora has been at the forefront of Open Source technology, developing solutions that power today’s leading products across a number of industry segments, including in millions of devices worldwide. Our team of highly skilled engineers and developers are among the most motivated and active Open Source contributors and maintainers around the world. We also have strong management and administration teams supporting our engineers and developers. Collaborans share a common passion for technology and Open Source, and these newest members are no different. Please join us in welcoming these new members of our engineering and administrative teams!

 

Arnaud Rébillout joined our Core team as a System Software Integration developer. He has years of experience with embedded Linux (OpenWRT, Buildroot) and Debian, along with solid skills in software development using the GNOME stack. He's now based in Asia.

 

Omar Akkila recently graduated from McGill University, and is currently a Software Developer Intern at our Montreal office, working with our Multimedia team on a project consisting of setting up a Continuous Integration loop to be able to run the GStreamer tests on embedded targets.

 

Corentin Noel joined our Cambridge, UK office as a Software Developer Intern within our Core team. He’s in his last year studying at ENSEA in France and his internship is about facilitating the cross-compilation of GTK applications with the GNOME builder for Yocto and Debian target files systems.

 

Lakshmipathi Ganapathi joined our Core team as a Continuous Integration/Automated Testing developer. He is based in India and brings with him more than a decade of experience in FOSS/Linux programming. He was also a winner of FOSS India Awards.

 

Rebecca Owen Munroe joined Collabora as an Executive Assistant based in our Montreal office. She brings with her years of experience in communications, research and administration, and also hosts “The Commonwealth Conundrum” every Tuesday at Montreal’s local radio station, CJLO 1690 AM.

 

Ezequiel Garcia joined our Core team as a Linux kernel developer. He is based in Argentina and brings with him his expertise in embedded Linux as well as 500+ upstream contributions to the Linux kernel, mostly in the ARM ecosystem.

 

Ritesh Raj Sarraf joined our Core team as a System Software Integration Developer based in India. He is a long-standing member of the Debian project and upstream maintainer of Laptop Mode Tools, a power saving tool for Linux based systems as well as apt-offline, an offline package management tool for Debian based systems.

 

Ana Guerrero Lopez, who is based in France, is the most recent new joiner for our Core team this quarter. Her expertise in Debian systems, Linux integration, development and Jenkins is a great match in her work as a Continuous Integration / Automated Testing Developer.

 

Last but not least, joining our Multimedia team in is Zeeshan Ali, who is based in Germany. He is bringing in his expertise in Vala, Rust, Linux/Unix Programming, and GTK+/GNOME Programming, to name a few.
